Fall Stash Swap
Part of sustainability is using what has already been created. If you have fiber arts supplies that aren’t being used, send them on to a new home and to someone who can use them.
Join us on October 22nd at the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center in Madison from 1-3 pm. Bring anything fiber arts related that you would be happy to send to a new home – spinning fiber, yarn, fleece, needles, hooks, drop spindles, notions, weaving supplies, patterns, felting supplies, or whatever. Oddball leftovers from projects? Supplies for a craft that didn’t click with you? Fiber that seemed like a good idea at the time? Supplies someone asked if you wanted and you said yes because you didn’t want to see them in a landfill? Bring them all!
We do hope that most will offer freely, but if you have some special stuff that you want to sell, that’s between you and the other party. Respect intellectual property rights of designers; if offering patterns, the copy you bring with should be your only copy.
All are welcome. You do not need to be a member to join us at this event.
